Here are some of the Colorado breweries that are proudly showing their support through events, rainbow-themed merch, special beer releases, and an outpouring of love for the entire LGBTQ+ community.

Goldspot Brewing

Goldspot is a fabulous craft brewery in Denver’s Berkeley/Regis neighborhood with traditional ales and lagers and some not so much.
They strive to create a sense of community, a place to be known, to gather, to celebrate and to feel at home.
They hope their eclectic, balanced, and lovingly crafted beer will bring people together to share in this wild adventure of living and living well.
Kelissa Hieber is their head brewer and sole owner.

Lady Justice Brewing

The Lady Justice Brewing Company was dreamed up by Betsy Lay, Kate Power, and Jen Cuesta during their 2010 service in AmeriCorps – asking the question “why can’t we brew beer and give back to our community?” What began as a small operation on a custom-built homebrew system in a tiny storage space has grown into a flourishing taproom and movement.

Their plans for Pride 2024?  When asked they said “Being gayyyy every dayyyyyy!”

Mountain Toad Brewing

Having recently celebrated their 11-year anniversary, Mountain Toad Brewing, a small brewery in Golden, is the oldest queer-owned brewery in Colorado.
Their focus is on providing a place for the community to gather and unwind.  The taproom offers a quaint and comfortable atmosphere for locals and visitors alike to grab a pint and make a new friend. Good vibes and high fives are always on tap.

Zymos Brewing

Zymos Brewing is proud to be Colorado’s newest queer-owned craft brewery! Located in Littleton, we’re a neighborhood focused brewery dedicated to building a community through the love of craft beer. We designed our space to be inclusive and inviting from our cozy lounge spaces to our wheelchair accessible bar and our two patio spaces. With our wide range of ales and lagers on tap and a selection of non-alcoholic options, we try to have something for everyone. Over the years we’ve spent countless hours at breweries around the state laughing, playing games, and making friends and we’re thrilled to bring a little bit more of that into the world. Pride, Sunday, June 2, 10 a.m.: Join New Belgium for our Pride celebration featuring local queer makers and artists!

The day will kick off with a Pride ride at 10 a.m. starting at the brewery and culminating with live performances from Fort Collins’ Full Expression dance collective from 4-6 p.m., also at our Fort Collins Liquid Center.

07 June: Atrevida Beer Co: Pikes Peak Pride Kickoff Party

Come kickoff Pride with us! We’ve got local vendors, a food truck, and a very special project to share with you! The Colorado Springs LGBTQ+ Oral History Project was established in 2020 by Dr. Rushaan Kumar, Assistant Professor of Feminist and Gender Studies at Colorado College, with Dr. Tre Wentling, Assistant Professor of Women’s and Ethnic Studies at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, as a key contributor. The project documents Colorado Springs’ rich LGBTQ+ history by collecting stories of long-term LGBTQ+ residents, focusing on black, indigenous, and people of color voices. With 45 oral history recordings collected, the Project harnesses the power of oral histories in preserving LGBTQ+ subcultures, memories, and lived experiences while simultaneously observing practices of joy, resilience, and community building among queer and transgender-identified people in Colorado Springs. The oral histories are accessible via multiple platforms: the Tutt Library Digital Archive, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.

The Pie Queen is back y’all! Chocolatina Q Dessert returns to our taproom with a pop-up pie shop and drag show performance–it’s pies with a side of drag! Pastry has been a lifelong passion for Martin Howard (or Chocolatina Q Dessert, depending on when and how you meet). An award-winning pastry chef by day and singing drag queen by night, Martin saw an opportunity to combine these two passions. And so, during a time when people needed food and laughter the most, The Pie Queen was born.

Tennyson St Pride Parade returns on June 15 from 4 PM-5 PM. Local businesses and breweries compete in an itty-bitty float competition and everyone’s a winner at the afterparty with DJ Jen G from 5 PM-7 PM.

Queer Beers is pulling out all the stops for Pride! 

This month, Queer Beers is getting an upgrade with a full-on drag show from Talia Tucker and Muni Tox with music by DJ Kaptain! $1 from every pint sold during Queer Beers will be donated to One Colorado – the leading organization in Colorado advancing equality for the LGBTQ+ community.

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 – Pride Or Die (7.0%) Dare we say our best West Coast IPA yet?! Dry hopped with Citra, Hallertau Blanc, Riwaka, and Simcoe Cryo, there’s a little something for everyone – ruby red grapefruit, backyard green grapes, passionfruit, bubblegum and light notes of cedar. It’ll taste even better all of June because we’re donating 10% of all sales of this beer to The Gathering Place, a non-profit specifically dedicated to serving women, transgender and non-binary individuals, and children who are experiencing poverty and homelessness. So come drink up, help a good cause and make us proud!

 

Resolute Brewing:  Pride IPA (IPA)

DOUBLE WEST COAST BEER RELEASE DAY

6.7% ABV

Brewed for Pride month, this West Coast IPA was brewed with a new IPA malt from Gambrinus Malting which tows the line between pilsner and pale ale malt, leading to a lighter color and but still a nice balancing sweetness. Hopped heavily with HRC 003, an experimental hop from the public hop breeding program, and HBC 1019, one of our favorite experimental hops. Finished with a touch of lupomax citra and talus. Expect huge notes of candied mango, pineapple whip with Coco Lopez, and guava orange sherbert.

A portion of all proceeds will be donated to The Center on Colfax who play a pivotal role in statewide initiatives to reduce harassment and discrimination, along with engaging, empowering, enriching, and advancing the LGBTQ community of Colorado

A summertime favorite, and probably one of our most impactful beers, has officially shown up on the tap list at the Station. Passionately Proud is a POG (passionfruit, orange, and guava) golden ale with passionately fruity aroma and taste. A medium bodied and smooth beer, you’ll find a slightly sweet finish that doesn’t linger. This beer is special as proceeds from draft and 4 packs will be donated to One Colorado, an LGBT advocacy group here in Colorado. Available on draft today, 4 packs of this beer will be available starting in early June. (Crowlers are a go though!)

 

Storm Peak Brewing:  TRY LOVE (fruited Pilsner)

TRY LOVE is our collaboration beer with Yampa Valley Pride and Steamboat Womens Rugby and is back this year to celebrate pride month. A portion of the proceeds for this fruited Pilsner will be donated in support of both organizations.

Strange Craft Beer Co:  Lil Garage (Cream Ale) 

Tapping Friday in honor of Pride Month Lil’ Garage will be make a return to the tap wall. This Cream Ale is brewed with Orange Peel and Vanilla. For every pint sold we will be donating two dollars to Inside Out Youth Services. Inside Out empowers, educates, and advocates for LGBTQ+ youth. Inside Out does this by creating safe space, support systems and teaching life skills to all youth in our community and work to make our community safer and more accepting of gender and sexual orientation diversity.

 

Tres Litros Beer: Roy G. Biv (Fruited Kettle Sour)

New Beer Alert Introducing Roy G. Biv, a fruited kettle sour that has the flavor profile of a handful of Skittles. Now you can ‘Taste The Rainbow’ in your glass. It us deep golden in color with an off-white head. There are sharp aromas of citrus and red fruit and a thin sour body. The flavors evolve quickly from lemon into strawberry and orange and finish crisply with ripe fruit.

We brewed this beer to celebrate Pride Month and specifically Pride Weekend here in Salida. We’re hosting two Pride events this weekend alongside Partnership for Community Action and to show our thanks and appreciation for what they do, we’re donating $1 from each pint sold of Roy G. Biv to their organization. The work that they do to support our queer community is very important.

12° will be benefiting Youth Seen: Foster and empower the social and emotional well-being of LGBTQI youth and their families in all communities by establishing partnerships with groups who specifically tailor their resources, education and outreach to our youth and young BIPoC + LGBTQIA+ community.

We want it to be known that both Elevation Beer Co and The Office Bar honor and welcome members of the LGBTQ+ community year-round and do all we can to ensure a safe space. This goes beyond verbal measure as we have worked with our local organization, Partnership for Community Action, where all of our team members took part in LGBTQ+ Cultural Fluency training and received a “Safe Space” certification.

Pride Month always brings a special glow to Salida. June hits and everything seems to start sparkling! We love this month, specifically because we get to celebrate a massive part of what makes Salida a place we all want to live — our queer community! We can’t start the festivities without a shoutout to the Partnership for Community Action, who aside from organizing Ark Valley Pride, provide support, resources, educational programs, and so much more to our community. There is an overwhelming amount of grief & pain in the world right now, and the amazing grassroots work that they do is exactly what we need to overcome & create the future we want to see.

For our part, we’re stoked to be running the *~Dazzle Dust~* special all weekend long! From Friday to Sunday (5/31-6/2), 20% of the proceeds from this cocktail (shaken with blanco tequila, a burst of violet, lime, honey, & mint) will be donated to the PfCA. We love & appreciate y’all, and it is our ongoing intention to make sure everyone feels safe & comfortable expressing themselves in our space, whatever the season may be.
